We couldn’t fit all of the awesome de-stress tips we had into just one email, so here are even more ways to avoid stress and stay on point at work!

Move around
Go for a short walk. Even for as little as a minute or two, this can really help burn off some of that nervous energy, leaving you refreshed, and far more mentally capable of handling the stresses of your day. If you can also get some sunshine and fresh air, then you’ll be doing even better.

Don’t Forget to Breathe
Breathing techniques are used during meditation to clear the mind and improve your sense of wellbeing. Breathe in through your nose, and out through your mouth slowly, at least 3 or 4 times. This will cause your mind to stop racing, your heart rate to drop and your stress to reduce.

Organize your desk:
Much of the stress in our lives comes from feeling out of control, and if your desk looks like a bombsite, this gives you a chance to take your mind off what you are stressing about, and exert some control on your environment.. Secondly, being able to find the report you need, when you need it, will help avoid unnecessary panic.

Practice Gratitude
Research suggests that “Grateful people report higher levels of positive emotions, life satisfaction, vitality, optimism, and lower levels of depression and stress.”. An easy exercise you can do is to identify 10 things you feel grateful for, everyday. This is an example of “Mindfulness” and can help you stay centred when everything is getting overwhelming.

Get a 3MA Massage
